A large storage shelf that actually makes sense
Three-function DiiiB shower set comes with a large overhead outlet, a wide shelf, rotating controls, and a hidden bottom water outlet in the color finish matte creamy white as well as matte grey. Xiaomi fans will appreciate the brand’s typical attention to detail, minimalist design, and practical features that we don’t often see in this price range.
One of the most practical parts is the spacious top storage shelf with dimensions 295 × 130 mm. The manufacturer states a load capacity of up to 60 jin, which is approximately 30 kg. In other words, it can easily handle shower gels, shampoos, soap dispensers, and other bathroom accessories. DiiiB describes it as “a large storage island,” which perfectly captures its practical use.
We also like the safety detail—the shelf has a thermally insulated surface and gently rounded edges, so you won’t get unpleasant burns from contact with the hot battery. For smaller bathrooms, it’s an excellent solution because you don’t need extra wall shelves.
230 mm overhead shower and massage handheld head
The centerpiece of the set is the overhead shower plate with a diameter of 230 mm, offering a dense yet gentle water flow for the so-called “wrapping” shower effect. According to the manufacturer, it includes 112 easily cleanable openings, which ensures the water stream is uniform and comfortable. The large surface helps rinse your whole body more effectively and creates the feeling of a luxury rain shower.
The handheld shower is even more interesting. It offers 3D massage mode, which uses a pulsing stream to simulate a gentle massage effect on muscles. The head has 138 openings, diameter 120 mm and liquid silicone nozzles with a diameter of 0,5 mm. The manufacturer highlights antibacterial properties, elasticity, and easy limescale removal by simply wiping it off with your finger.
Thoughtful controls and a hidden bottom water outlet
A system of two rotating controls looks very practical. One is for switching between the handheld shower, the overhead shower, and the bottom outlet, and the other regulates water temperature and flow intensity. The manufacturer mentions smart cold-start technology, which starts regulation from cold water toward warm, reducing the risk of scalding.
Hidden bottom water drainage is a detail we really like. Water comes out from the bottom of the shelf in a fine aerated stream that sprays less and is ideal, for example, for rinsing off cold water before showering, rinsing a bucket, or cleaning the bathroom.
A quality ceramic cartridge and long service life
DiiiB uses a high-quality ceramic valve core designed, according to the Chinese specification, to handle up to 1,000,000 opening/closing cycles. With typical use of about 100 openings per day, the manufacturer estimates a service life of around 27 years. Those are very solid numbers even for pricier bathroom sets.
The gunmetal gray surface went through a 24-hour acidic salt-spray test, which means high resistance to corrosion, moisture, and long-term use in the bathroom. The Xiaomi ecosystem is known for its long lifespan, and you can see it clearly here.
Installation dimensions and compatibility
The set is height-adjustable, and the manufacturer recommends an inlet water mounting height of 900 – 1100 mm from the ground. The standard spacing between inlets is 150 ± 15 mm, so it should be compatible with most common bathroom plumbing setups. The upper shower section needs clearance of approximately 800 – 1200 mm, depending on the selected height.
You’ll also get a flexible, tangle-resistant PVC hose with 360° rotation, plus a universal eccentric adapter for easier installation. That makes it a very interesting upgrade for older bathrooms without the need for major renovations.
