MIUI developers are still working at full speed and are continuously integrating new features and settings into their successful software skin. Now, a new possibility for broad display customization has been found.
MIUI is one of the most advanced Android skins
Since the arrival of MIUI 11, Xiaomi hasn’t stopped rolling out new features and settings for its famous software skin. Thanks to the ongoing work of developers and programmers, as well as listening to feedback from fans, MIUI has become respected and one of the most advanced software skins in Android.
In a new amazing testing beta version, the xda-developers programming team managed to discover new features in the display settings. They let users set up and calibrate different color and saturation parameters on their smartphone’s display.
Specifically, these new options are located in the Settings app. From there, you can control and calibrate various aspects of the screen. First of all, a choice between four color profiles has been added, named Enhanced (enhanced), Original, P3, and sRGB.
There are also options to adjust individual shades of red, green, and blue within the RGB color space. In addition, users will now be able to calibrate the tint, saturation, contrast, or even adjust a specific value within the HSV color space.
When you change the settings, the result is shown immediately in a small preview window, so you can see right away how your adjustments will really look. Then you can choose whether to keep the changes, discard them, or restore the original settings.
We just remind you that this feature was discovered in the MIUI 11 testing beta version, so it will likely take several weeks—maybe even a few months—until the settings reach the stable versions intended for regular users.
