Our detailed review:
Uncompromising suction power
If we compare the robot vacuum cleaners currently available on the market, most of them have suction power around 2000 Pa. The new Roborock S7 vacuum comes with 2500 Pa suction power, but Dreame raises the bar even further. The Dreame Bot L10 Pro has suction power up to 4000 Pa, which is double the suction power of typical robot vacuum cleaners.
The power is handled by a quality brushless Nidec motor, which guarantees a long service life. The vacuum has a classic design we’re used to from other robot vacuum cleaners. At the bottom there’s a three-armed bristle brush that ensures the vacuum won’t miss even the corners of the room, a rotating brush and wheels.
The rotating brush picks up all hair and pet fur as well. Thanks to bristles shaped like a partial spiral, it cleans deep even carpets with longer pile.
Lidar navigation system and 3D mapping
Advanced Lidar system takes care of navigation for the Dreame Bot L10 Pro robot vacuum around the space. Thanks to it, the vacuum recognizes obstacles and then creates a kind of 3D model of the room in which it moves. With these systems, the vacuum can render a map of the space in the Xiaomi Home app (Mi Home).
So you can control the vacuum from anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. There’s also support for voice control with an Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
Of course, the map is split into individual rooms, where you can then start vacuuming separately. So you always have the choice of letting the vacuum go through the entire apartment or just some rooms. There’s also vacuuming of a designated area, or the option to create virtual walls or restricted areas that you want to avoid.
The Dreame Bot L10 Pro can also mop, thanks to a 270 ml water tank. The waste container has a 570 ml capacity. The battery with a capacity of 5 200 mAh will last for approximately 2.5 hours of operation. During that time, it will vacuum about 250 m2. If the battery capacity drops below the critical threshold while vacuuming, the vacuum returns to the charging station and, after recharging, will continue where it left off.
In the end, you can check out a comparison of some robot vacuum cleaner models.
