The popular portal DxOMark thoroughly tested the photographic equipment of the affordable mobile phone marked as Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G. We already know the result of this test as well as the advantages or disadvantages of this smartphone’s camera.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G: From DxOMark, 118 points

After analyzing the cameras of the POCO X3 NFC model, which turned out to be one of the best in its price category, this time the DxOMark portal looked at the affordable smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G. Even this analysis ended with a surprisingly much better score than originally expected—especially considering the price of this device.

When it comes to the details, the overall score from the analysis is 111 points, while the smartphone scored up to 118 points for the camera, 48 points for zoom, and 101 points for video recording. The smartphone’s setup includes a main 64 MPx camera (f/1.8). It is also complemented by a 8 MPx ultra-wide sensor with a field of view of up to 119 degrees (f/2.2), as well as a 5 MPx macro sensor (f/2.4).

Praise for exposure and the displayed colors, or video recording

For photography, this analysis highlights the level of exposure, the texture of the captured objects, and also how individual colors are represented. On the other hand, when it comes to negative aspects, the criticism was taken by night photography, zoom, and the so-called “bokeh” effect—i.e., portrait mode.

Video recording with this smartphone earned a fairly high number of points. The footage itself stands out thanks to its stabilization, even though it’s only electronic. The video was also praised for the displayed color range and exposure.

Given the fairly low price of this device, tests from DxOMark delivered a surprising result. Based on these results, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G can be compared with much more expensive competitors such as the Google Pixel 4a or OnePlus 8T. On the other hand, in the ranking it’s beaten, for example, by the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.
