European Xiaomi Mi 10 is here at last, and so is the Mi 10 Pro. Here’s what the prices look like

After nearly a month and a half since the original Chinese launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, we’ve finally got them in Europe. The Chinese tech giant unveiled its flagship for year 2020 during an online conference.

Finally, we know the prices

Since the Mi 10 specs are already known to almost everyone, let’s start with what we all were waiting for. European prices. As you could expect from the Chinese prices, the Xiaomi Mi 10 is the most expensive smartphone from the manufacturer — unless you count the Mi MIX Alpha concept.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun already hinted before the Mi 10 launch that they removed the price cap to deliver a flagship with premium quality. Production costs went up, quality went up, and so did the price.

The sale will kick off in Spain on 1. April. The price tags for Western European markets are as follows (in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, they will likely be higher):

For Xiaomi, in Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, the most important component is the camera. With the Mi 10 Pro model, they first moved to the top of the DxOMark ranking, which brings together the best smartphone cameras in the world. Now they’re competing for the 21 spot with a Chinese competitor, the Oppo Find X# Pro.

The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro also stand out with an ultra-quality AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, FullHD+ resolution, and a contrast of 5 000 000 : 1. The Mi 10 Pro even has professional color accuracy. There’s also a “pinhole” cutout for the front camera, placed in the left corner.

The phones also boast very high-quality linear stereo speakers, the most powerful Snapdragon 865 processor, fast LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage, plus very fast wireless and wired charging, along with the latest 5G connectivity.

In addition, you’ll also find features like reverse charging, highly efficient liquid cooling, the latest WiFi 6, a new Bluetooth 5.1, and of course NFC and dual GPS. One interesting detail is that the Mi 10 Pro includes a 65 W charger directly in the box.
