FIMI X8 TELE: A flagship 4K/60 fps setup with a 30-times zoom
FIMI X8 TELE features a matte white color finish, plus a foldable design with dimensions of 204 x 106 x 72.6 mm (folded) and 242 x 334 x 72.6 mm (unfolded). Total weight tops out at 750 grams (including the battery), which makes this drone ideal for easy travel.
The integrated wide-angle sensor (Sony, 48 MPx) offers 4K at 60 fps, and is also complemented by a special telephoto lens (Sony, 13 MPx), providing up to 30x zoom (equivalent to a 120 mm lens) to roughly two kilometers.
Of course, there’s support for RAW photos (48 MP, DNG format) for later post-processing. Completely stable shots are handled by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, equipped with a brand-new LOS stabilization algorithm of the 4th generation, combined with highly precise position sensors and a fully closed-loop servo system. It delivers a control accuracy of 0.005°, effectively reducing shake while moving.
The drone handles flight resistance up to 12 m/s, and it also has a real-time video transmission system – SoLink. It offers a maximum range of 10 kilometers, supports dual-band connectivity at 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, and has a latency of just 120 ms.
Up to 4650 mAh removable battery and 38 minutes of flight
The maximum flight altitude is 5000 meters, the maximum tilt angle is 35°, and you also get navigation system support like GPS, Glonass and Galileo. A mobile app from the manufacturer takes care of smooth connection with the drone and is available for both iOS and Android.
The integrated battery has a capacity of 4650 mAh (53.7 Wh). Charging to full takes about 110 minutes. The maximum flight on one charge lasts about 38 minutes, but it’s a removable battery. There’s also a Plus battery with even higher capacity—at 5000 mAh (72 Wh). In this case, you can fly up to 47 minutes on a single charge.
A megaphone and a payload/parcel delivery transmission system
Just like the previous FIMI drones, the new FIMI X8 Tele also lets you add a megaphone. This module enables remote voice or sound transmission. It can store multiple audio files, supports text-to-speech conversion and automatic looping playback, as well as real-time shouting.
With a maximum sound projection range of 100 meters, tasks like search and rescue become easier thanks to unprecedented speed and efficiency. In a noisy and complex environment, the optimal range is up to 50 meters.
Besides the megaphone, you can also get a payload delivery module with a maximum payload of up to 350 g—so the FIMI X8 Tele can be used to deliver urgently needed supplies, for example in mountain cabins with worse accessibility.
Improved durability and a rich bundle
Thanks to an upgraded rain- and snow-resistant construction, your flights won’t be stopped by weather conditions. A newly added downward-facing auxiliary light provides directional guidance and ensures safe navigation even in rainy or snowy weather.
