Yesterday, Redmi confirmed a new mid-range smartphone model, the Redmi Note 9, which will be unveiled on 12. March / března 2020. Besides that, they also shared small details of the specs and the layout of the camera module into a square.
What could the new Redmi Note 9 look like?
This kind of arrangement of the rear cameras is something we haven’t seen in Redmi or Xiaomi smartphones yet, and until now the individual sensors were always placed in a line.
Famous designer Benjamin Geskin seized the opportunity and created a render of the Redmi Note 9 smartphone. It should soon become the new king of the mid-range. Given today’s trends that the artist worked into the render, the new device could easily also look the way you can see in the picture below.
According to Geskin, the Redmi Note 9 will feature a perforated display with very narrow bezels. Optically, that would make the display (and the smartphone) look larger, adding to an overall luxurious look in a flagship style. The placement of the front camera in the top-left corner, which the designer took from the Xiaomi Mi 10 model as well, and we don’t see any reason why the final result couldn’t look just like this.
The back side of the smartphone in the render takes into account the promotional posters released yesterday, which provided a glimpse at 4 camera sensors arranged in a square. Also, under the camera module there could be a dual LED flash. The back cover could have modern rounded edges like we know from other Xiaomi smartphones.
Specifications are still under wraps
We don’t know the specifications of the new Redmi Note 9 yet, but in the promotional posters the manufacturer pointed out some elements. Apart from the four cameras mentioned above in the square layout, the Redmi Note 9 should also deliver fairly high performance and fast charging.
No matter what, for fans of this smartphone category, the most important thing is that the best possible ratio of specs, quality, and price is maintained. This category of Redmi Note smartphones has always met that requirement, so we hope we won’t be disappointed.
