Global Redmi Watch 3 Lite in first real photos. We also know the specs

Redmi is preparing its third generation of affordable smartwatches. Redmi Watch 3 Lite has leaked in live photos, and we also know some of the specs.

Redmi Watch 3 Lite are in the works

The model designation for these smartwatches is M2247W1. The watches have also undergone certification EEC and appeared on the official website of the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) in South Korea.

That’s also where the live photos of the smartwatch come from. From them, we can see that in terms of design, the new model will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor — the same rectangular shape. It looks like a mix of Redmi Watch 2 Lite and Redmi Watch 3.

As for the specs, the Redmi Watch 3 Lite should include a built-in 2.87 V polymer lithium-ion battery and support Bluetooth 5.0, so there’s nothing surprising here.

Redmi Watch 3 are well-equipped smartwatches

The Redmi Watch 3 Lite follows the classic version of Redmi Watch 3, which was released last December. These watches feature a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with high resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and 5 ATM certification.

In terms of features, Redmi Watch 3 come with various health monitoring functions, support more than 100 sports activities, and automatically recognize up to 6 sports. Another big advantage of the Redmi Watch 3 model is the built-in GPS module. In addition, they support Bluetooth calls as well as emergency SOS calls.

Battery life isn’t bad either. With normal use, they can last up to around 12 days. If you push them harder, it’ll still be about 7 days of more intensive use.

We’ll see what concessions the manufacturer makes with the Redmi Watch 3 Lite model. We expect it won’t come with an AMOLED panel, but only a standard IPS display — and we’ll see whether the Lite model gets a GPS module.
