Our favorite Chinese company Xiaomi is preparing its next generation of the flagship smartphone, labeled Xiaomi 13. It has also passed another certification, thanks to which we know more information, as well as that the official presentation is already imminent.
Xiaomi 13 will also arrive in the global version
The new flagship lineup consisting of models Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to debut in China already during December. But that’s not all—there have also been reports about a different version intended for the Indian market. It appeared in the well-known BIS certification (Bureau of Indian Standards).
In the aforementioned certification, a smartphone appeared with a model designation 2210132G, as pointed out by the source Mysmartprice. As is customary, this certification did not reveal any additional technical specifications. However, it suggests that the global version could arrive already after the new year.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and up to 1,5K display
Previous information leaks suggested that Xiaomi 13 should be powered by a yet-unannounced processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It will also be paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. In addition, the equipment should include a rather compact 6.2″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution.
Other equipment expected includes a 50 MPx main camera sensor, as well as the operating system Android 13 enhanced with the latest graphical interface labeled MIUI 14.
According to leaked photos, the phone should offer a fairly flat back, sharper edges, and minimal bezels around the display. There will be no missing cutout for the front camera, as well as a curved display. The camera module will have a square shape and the lenses will be arranged in an unusual way. In addition to the main sensor, a quality ultra-wide-angle sensor is also expected, along with a third sensor that’s closer to unspecified.
