The full specifications of Xiaomi have leaked 12! It should come with a familiar design or a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

The unveiling of the upcoming flagship Xiaomi 12 is coming on December 28th. It won’t be that much of a surprise, because complete specs—incl. the selling prices—have leaked. There’s plenty to look forward to.

Leaked complete specs

Xiaomi has started gradually revealing some specifications of the Xiaomi 12 model, but the Panda is Bald profile on the Chinese social network Weibo posted a poster listing the complete specs of the Xiaomi 12 flagship. The price of the device also appeared for all of its memory versions.

On the leaked poster, we can also see the final look of the smartphone, which matches the leaks and renders. So up front there’s a large display that reaches the edges, plus a selfie camera placed in a small cutout.

The back is very similar to what we could see on the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone. So, a large camera module, with the main camera sensor being the dominant one.

A great display without LTPO

At the front, a 6.28-inch AMOLED display is already confirmed, featuring a dynamic refresh rate from 1 – 120 Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, 10-bit color depth, and a maximum brightness of up to 1 600 nits.

The brains will be the expected Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor with support for 5G networks. So we’re talking about the most powerful option we can currently find in Android smartphones. The DDR5 RAM capacity will be from 8 to 12 GB, and as for internal storage, it will be 128 and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 type.

The photos won’t disappoint

The back will be made up of three sensors. The main one, with size 1/1,28-inch, will deliver 50 MPx resolution, optical stabilization, and an f/1,9 aperture. It will be joined by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 123-step field of view. The trio will also include a telephoto lens with OIS, 3-x optical zoom, 10-x hybrid zoom, and a 30-x digital zoom.

As for connectivity, you’ll find everything essential. An NFC chip, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth in version 5.2. Also up for question is certified water resistance, because it was missing in the previous generation, and it’s quite possible we won’t get it again this year.

The battery capacity will be a very capable 4 500 mAh, and it will support 67-watt wired and 30-watt wireless charging. We don’t have confirmation of this, but you can be sure we’ll also get reverse charging.

Leaked also preliminary prices

Android 12 with the MIUI 13 custom layer will be the foundation. Prices for the given versions are as follows:

• Version 8 + 256 – 3 699 yuan (513 euros)
• Version 8 + 256 – 3 999 yuan (554 euros)
• Version 12 + 256 – 4 399 yuan (610 euros)
