In October last year, the Redmi Note 12 series was introduced on the Chinese market. Soon, we can therefore expect its successor, as the schematic of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has been revealed.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be the most equipped smartphone in the upcoming series, and its predecessor also focused mainly on the camera aspect. Let's take a closer look at the leaked schematic published by the trusted leaker Digital Chat Station.

Camera module design change

We can see that Redmi has changed the design of the rear camera module. It now resembles the one we can find in the Xiaomi 13 series.

It should now have a square shape, and we can see up to 4 cutouts, but one of them is for the LED flash. A straight milling separates it from one lens and then the other two.

Thin bezels around the display

The two main cutouts are unusually large, but for now we can't say whether the sensors themselves will be that large or if it's just a design element. At first glance, though, it looks interesting and elegant.

If we look at the front, we can see truly thin bezels around the entire display, and they even appear to be symmetrical. The selfie camera will again be in a display punch-hole this year.

Previous leaks said that the upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display and the Android 14 operating system together with MIUI 15.

We expect improved specs over the predecessor

Looking at the specs of the predecessor, it had a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Performance was handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor.

The main camera had a resolution of 200 Mpx, followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The battery had a capacity of 5,000 mAh along with 120W wired charging.
