The two smartphones from the Redmi Note 13 series were announced earlier on the Chinese market. We already know they’ll be interesting mid-range picks—even with an eye toward the global release in Europe. However, the selling prices will rise due to the Chinese yuan.

The latest information from Appuals suggests a slightly higher selling price than originally expected. Still, we’re talking mid-range value. Specifically, Redmi Note 13 Pro should start at around €450, while the starting price of Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will be as high as €500.
That’s already the line between a higher mid-range class and the cheapest flagship devices. If these retail prices are confirmed at the official press conference as well, it would be an unpleasant surprise for global customers.
This isn’t a change in terms of China’s sales strategy settings. Chinese versions are sold in that market for the equivalent of about approximately 180 € (Redmi Note 13 Pro) and 260 € (Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G). When we look at the exchange rate, it’s truly a significant increase in the selling price—also considering shipping and local customs duty.
First of its kind
Redmi’s top Note model has brought it closer to flagship devices—maybe as close as it ever has. That’s why we’ll probably see three global Redmi Note smartphones at once. Looking at the specs, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will feature a curved OLED display with a fine resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels.
Performance in this case will be handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The main camera will be a 200MP sensor from Samsung. The built-in battery will offer a capacity of 4880 mAh and will also include ultra-fast wired charging rated at up to 120 W.
