POCO apparently has several more smartphones up its sleeve. Not long ago, we informed you that it would soon unveil the X5 Pro model, but now the POCO F5 model should also be coming.
POCO F5 is already in production
A new leak comes from a trusted source Mukula Sharmu. On the social network Twitter, he shared information that the POCO F5 model could be revealed soon.
According to him, the manufacturer of this model has started production not only in Europe, but also in Asia. In addition, it also obtained TUV Rheinland certification.
Even though POCO itself has not yet confirmed any of these rumors, nor even the existence of the smartphone, it is clear that for now it will likely focus on unveiling the POCO X5 Pro model, for which it has published a poster on Aliexpress.
A new model after half a year?
If we look at its predecessor, the POCO F4 model, it was announced only in summer 2022, meaning that the new generation would arrive just a little over half a year later.
We don’t know for sure whether POCO is trying to shorten the renewal time of its individual models this way, or whether it wants to offer more models every year. The downside, however, is that even in POCO smartphones a real mess is starting to emerge.
Will we also get the POCO F5 Pro model?
There are also reports that along with it, we should get the Pro model with the label POCO F5 Pro, which will be a rebadged and global version of the Redmi K60 model.
If that were really the case, we’d be getting a very powerful processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, LPDDR5-type RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage.
A 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate should take care of the visuals. The battery should have a capacity of 5 500 mAh along with 67W wired and 30W wireless charging.
