There’s no doubt that the launch of the new gaming smartphone from Black Shark 3 is just around the corner. The ever-growing amount of information about the upcoming smartphone suggests that the new model will be a real shark among gaming devices.
The “Black Shark” name has to be earned by the new model
The very first leaks of information suggested that Xiaomi is preparing, under the Black Shark 3 brand, a real “cannon.” There’s more than enough certainty that the phone – if we can even call it that – will come with support for 5G mobile networks. It will be the first gaming device with this feature.
In a recent article, we reported that one of the memory versions of this unique device will have up to 16 GB of RAM.
The primary equipment of a gaming device includes hardware that will deliver solid performance and high-quality visuals. Only then can the gaming experience be perfect. That’s why, even though nothing has been officially confirmed, the expectation is for the best possible hardware.
Performance should therefore be handled by the latest and most powerful mobile processor of the moment Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The display will be responsible for the visuals, and today’s information is about its specifications.
A display that Xiaomi hasn’t had yet
Photos have leaked online showing a display settings screen. The message says it should be a display that will be featured on the Black Shark 3. From the photos, it’s clear that you’ll be able to switch the display resolution as well as the refresh rate.
The important part, however, is what specifications we’re talking about. The new smartphone should come with a display offering the highest resolution up to 2K and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. At the same time, the user will be able to choose FullHD resolution, as well as 60 or 90 Hz refresh rates.
The 2K resolution is usually defined by a 2048 x 1080 pixel ratio, but for the new model, the aspect ratio could be different. It’s also not yet known what type of display this will be.
However, we need to point out that no competent person has officially confirmed the information published so far. The device launch is expected in the first quarter of 2020, and we’re already eagerly waiting for more details.
