The legendary Pocophone F1 definitely doesn’t need introduction – extremely high performance, extremely low price. It has convinced more than a few of us of its advantages, but we haven’t heard much about the Poco brand for a long time. Only recently, however, they announced a return, when they ‘split off’ from Xiaomi and became an independent brand.

This is already a hint that the brand will bring many models this year. Among them, there should also be the previously unknown Poco F2 Lite.

A lighter version?

Poco, which has only recently become independent and a separate company, confirmed that several products from their workshop will be released this year. At the same time, they also managed to register the Poco F2 trademark.

A video about a possible arrival of the Poco F2 Lite smartphone was posted on RevAtlas’ YouTube channel. The video creator received an email from an unknown author, with these photos attached. It’s also possible that it’s an international version of the Redmi K30 phone.

From the picture, we can see that nothing revolutionary is in the design. The classic teardrop cutout, as we’ve known it for a long time, and fairly wide side bezels. The email sender also revealed some basic specifications.

A solid processor and a massive battery

The processor should be a powerful Snapdragon 765 complemented with 6 GB of RAM. The battery is expected to have a large capacity of 5000 mAh and the camera will likely be 48 or more MPx, since the sender mentioned it will be a high-resolution camera.

The latest Android 10 mentioned as the operating system, with the MIUI interface layer specially modified for the Poco brand.

The email also mentions the price. The exact one isn’t set yet, but the email sender says the price will be lower than so far. What exactly they meant by those words, we still don’t know. If the price is lower than Poco F1, i.e. 266 € at the time of launch, then it’s clear that Poco wants to keep its excellent price-to-performance ratio.

Since none of this information has been confirmed, we can only assume for now whether it’s true. In any case, it’s still a very interesting news and it’s likely we’ll find out soon whether this information is accurate.
