Earlier this month, we brought you the first article related to the POCO X3 Pro smartphone. It should be the successor to the base model POCO X3 NFC, which achieved truly massive success worldwide.
Thanks to active leakers, we learn that the expected Pro version will bring major performance upgrades, reaching all the way into the premium class. Most recently, the smartphone was spotted in another certification.
POCO X3 Pro certified again
Before launching the smartphone on the market, the device must go through the certification required for that region. Most recently, the smartphone appeared in Thai NBTC certification, which confirms the parameters leaked thanks to previous certifications.
The model designation of the smartphone is M2102J20SG and, according to everything, it will be a device that supports 4G LTE. The specs won’t be missing the NFC chip, Dual Band Wi-Fi (2.4 / 5 GHz), or the latest version of the MIUI 12 interface.
Premium performance
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, the POCO X3 Pro should come with an upgraded processor. The predecessor in the form of the X3 NFC model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chip, which fits the mid-range, but the upcoming successor has much higher ambitions.
Under the hood, we’ll most likely see the Snapdragon 860 chipset, which is based on Snapdragon 855+. So it’s already clear that there definitely won’t be a shortage of sufficient performance.
On the front side, there will be a camera module with four sensors. The main sensor could have a resolution of 48 MPx, with a wide-angle lens, a macro sensor, and a depth detection sensor in support.
These are all the currently available details about the POCO X3 Pro smartphone. If any new news surfaces, we’ll inform you through our website or the Xiaomi Planet group on Facebook.
