Redmi 9T smartphone: Full HD+ IPS display and Snapdragon 662

Despite the high battery capacity, the Redmi 9T device will offer fairly compact dimensions thanks to its polycarbonate body. The weight of this smartphone is only 198 grams, which is a pretty standard value.

In the specs, it comes with a large, up to 6.53″ IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution and a protective glass from Corning Gorilla Glass that isn’t specified in more detail. The display notch shaped like a water drop will also be included, and it will house the front camera.

On the performance side, there’s a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor (manufactured on 11 nm technology), paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 / 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage (with the option to expand via a microSD memory card up to 512 GB).

The smartphone also includes a main 48 MPx camera, which in the rear module is complemented by an ultra-wide-angle, depth, and macro sensor. Time-lapse video recording will also be included in the package.

NFC connectivity and a 6000 mAh battery

You’ll be happy with the fingerprint reader sensor placed on the side edge in the power button, but also with water-drop resistance (nanocoating) with certification not specified in more detail. Selected versions of this smartphone will also include an NFC chip. However, they will be more expensive.

For a very good multimedia experience, a pair of stereo speakers will also be available. Fans of standard wired headphones will then appreciate the 3,5 mm audio connector. An infrared port for controlling home electronics will not be missing either.

The battery has a capacity of up to 6000 mAh and also supports fast 18W wired charging (the package will include up to a 22,5W adapter). According to the manufacturer, the battery shouldn’t suffer excessive degradation for up to four years.
