A Chinese Xiaomi sub-brand, the company Redmi, is preparing its upcoming powerful smartphone under the name Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. And we can already assess the crushing performance it offers, thanks to a revealed benchmark test.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition: We know the massive performance of the upcoming smartphone
As previous leaks suggested, the new flagship model Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will be launched by the end of this month in China. And it should be the most powerful Redmi smartphone ever, already showing up in benchmark testing from Geekbench.
From the My Smart Price source, the first technical specifications also come in. This smartphone should come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which will easily push past the 4000-point mark in this popular performance test.
Geekbench confirmed the flagship processor, which will be paired with a Adreno 730 graphics chip. More configurations are also expected. The one included in the testing featured up to 12 GB of RAM, or up to 512 GB of internal storage. However, given the recent unveiling of Chinese devices, we also expect a base model with 8 GB of RAM.
Another feature that was confirmed thanks to benchmark tests is the operating system Android 12, along with the MIUI 13 graphics interface. A quick update to the recently released version under the number MIUI 13.1, which is currently already available for the Xiaomi 12S series in China, is also expected.

Let’s move on to the results, though. When it comes to Geekbench, in the “Single-Core” test the device achieved a total of Redmi K50 Extreme Edition 1339 points. While in “Multi-Core” it’s as much as 4389 points. These results will be added to the recently published statistics from AnTuTu, where this truly powerful flagship smartphone scored up to 1 120 691 points.
As for the rest of the technical specs, the device should offer a 6,67″ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. It may also be the first smartphone from this manufacturer to include an up to 200 MPx camera sensor, Samsung HP1.
