China’s tech giant Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is preparing its upcoming flagship in China, the Redmi K60. It should also include wireless charging—and for the first time in its history.

New leaks are coming from ITHome, from the well-known tipster DCS. He revealed fast-charging options that at least one of the models in the Redmi K60 series will offer.
According to the source, two charging versions will go on sale. One will offer 67 W fast wired charging and 30 W fast wireless charging, while the other one up to 120 W fast wired and 30 W fast wireless charging.
It’s not the first time a company has released smartphones with different charging performance. Usually, this is how it separates the standard model from its “Pro” version. However, this time there’s a debut of fast wireless charging that the Redmi brand hasn’t offered yet. We can also expect that the 67 W charging version will come with a slightly larger battery compared to the 120 W charging version.
Flagship chips from Snapdragon and Dynamic Island?
Previous leaks also said the series will include devices with processors Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as well as Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The top model in the lineup should also debut with a 2K display panel.
