The Chinese Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi, is already preparing the upcoming Redmi Note 10 model. It has also already undergone certification, and we know some of the device’s technical specs and design.
Redmi Note 10 (4G) has already passed certification
A device with the code name M2010J19SC has already gone through the well-known TENAA certification. According to available information, it should be the upcoming Redmi Note 10 smartphone in its 4G configuration. It’s a Chinese variant of the smartphone.
The certification also reveals the technical equipment of this device, which should reach the market under the Redmi brand. However, that’s not all, because this smartphone’s hardware is expected to become the basis for the upcoming POCO-branded smartphone, which will be available globally. For now, we know it under the code name M2010J19CG.
These are the technical specifications and the design
According to available information, it should be a large smartphone whose dimensions are listed as 162,29 x 77,24 x 9,6 millimeters. Its weight should then come in at 198 grams.
As for the display panel, Redmi Note 10 should offer an LCD panel with a 6.53″ diagonal and Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). This panel will also be complemented by a large battery with a capacity of up to 6000 mAh. This feature may be the reason for the higher thickness and weight of the device.
We can remember this battery, for example, from the Indian version of the POCO X3 smartphone. There will also be no shortage of fast charging with power of 22,5W. The smartphone will also offer an octa-core, more specifically unspecified processor with a clock speed of 2,0 GHz. There will also be 4/6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of storage (with the option to expand via a microSD memory card up to 512 GB).
4 rear cameras and USB Type-C
The additional equipment won’t be missing either—there will be as many as 4 rear cameras. The main sensor will offer a resolution of 48 MPx, and the front camera will then be 8 MPx. According to the mentioned certification, the front camera won’t have a telephoto lens. On the software side, the MIUI 12 overlay will be available built on Android 10. Support for Android 11 is also expected.
You’ll also be pleased with an infrared sensor, FM radio, a fingerprint sensor placed on the side frame, a USB Type-C connector, or a 3,5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones. The smartphone should be available in black, blue, white, green, purple, red, and orange color versions.
