The Redmi Note 10 smartphone series builds on the success of last year’s predecessors. These are fairly well-equipped models that stand out mainly for the great specs/price ratio. The latest info suggests they should receive a slight upgrade. They will get new processors and 5G support.
Redmi Note 10 series with new MediaTek processors
If you thought that the models from this line could no longer surprise you and that they’ve already shown all their cards, you were wrong. Reports are coming from China about three upgraded Redmi Note 10 smartphones. While the current models are equipped with Qualcomm processors, the new ones should get new MediaTek chipsets with 5G support.
Redmi Note 10 5G, Note 10 Pro 5G, and Note 10 Pro+ 5G will be fitted with MediaTek Dimensity 700 and 900 processors. The Dimensity 900 model was introduced only recently, and in terms of performance it ranks in the mid-range. It’s made using a modern 6 nm manufacturing process, so there should definitely be no problem with battery life either.
The cheapest of the three upcoming smartphones has already received certification from TENAA. Besides the new processor, it should be an entirely identical model. That means it will get a 48 MP camera, a 6.43″ Super AMOLED display, a 5000 mAh battery, 30 W charging, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
For the version with the “plus” label, it’s also said it could get the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor. Unfortunately, we don’t have much information about the news. Besides the processors, 5G support, and maybe some other small details, it should be the same models as the current 4G versions of these smartphones. Once again, you can look forward to an excellent specs/price ratio.
The specs likely won’t differ from the current models
The Pro version, on the other hand, should get a 108 MP camera, a 5020 mAh battery, and a 6.67″ display with a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, and especially a 120 Hz refresh rate. Of course, you’ll also be able to rely on fast charging with 33 W power, NFC, a 3.5 mm jack, or stereo speakers.
We’ll have to wait a bit to confirm these specs. What’s certain is that the new models will bring 5G support and new MediaTek processors. As soon as new information about these models appears, we’ll share it. So don’t forget to follow us and join our Facebook group, where we build an active Xiaomi community.
