POCO today officially unveiled the pair F9 Ultra and F9 Pro. Both phones were being talked about all summer long, and we also wrote about their Geekbench results, but only now do we have the complete official specs in front of us. And for the flagship model, in some places it’s almost rude.
Best deal on the market for POCO F9 Ultra
You can find the latest POCO F9 Ultra in offers from our trusted partners Gshopper and DHgate, who ship it directly to Slovakia with tax included in the price, so you won’t face any additional fees upon delivery.
The difference is that Gshopper ships from a Chinese warehouse, of course without customs duty, while it’s a global version of the phone. The seller lists a 2-year warranty in Europe; the claim is handled through Gshopper, and when you order via our link we’ll help you with it. As a bonus, the box also includes the original 100W charger. That way you save another €30 on the charger. Delivery in this case takes from 7 to 15 days.
Starting in October 2026, Gshopper also opened its own local warehouse in the Czech Republic, from where it offers the F9 Ultra at attractive coupon prices. The difference is that this is the official European version with the packaging included, so when ordering from the CZ warehouse it does not include the 100W charger.
The seller on DHgate offers phones in a European, Spanish warehouse, which means express delivery within 5 days — and of course no additional customs duty, because it’s already included in the price. It’s also a global version, but we don’t have confirmation of the charger included in the box.
Benefits of buying products from China via Xiaomi PlanetShowIt’s an official global version, with Slovak and Czech language support, complete 4G and 5G network support, Google apps, Google Pay — simply the same version that will be sold on our local markets in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and over 4,1 million points
POCO F9 Ultra builds on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, i.e. Qualcomm’s currently most powerful chip. It’s made on a 3nm N3P process at TSMC and comes with eight cores in a 2 + 6 configuration, where the two performance cores run up to 4.6 GHz and the six efficiency cores run at 3.62 GHz. In AnTuTu, according to POCO’s official benchmarks, it reached 4 165 108 points. It’s paired with LPDDR5X with 9600 Mbps memory and UFS 4.1 storage.
The graphics are supported by a dedicated chip, VisionBoost D8, manufactured using a 12nm process. It handles frame interpolation, AI-based resolution upscaling, and the Game HDR feature that dynamically adjusts brightness and contrast in games. It can run super-resolution, smooth frame rendering, and Game HDR at the same time.
The cooling system is called POCO 3D IceLoop, with a surface area of 6300 mm². The design separates vapor from liquid, so heat flows in only one direction, and a 3D raised section above the chip reduces its temperature by up to 3 °C. Inside, there’s also a graphite layer with an area of 17 820 mm².
185 FPS in games and controls with 4800 Hz
The gaming section has its own name, WildBoost Engine—it tracks target frame rate and the in-game scenario, compensates for FPS drops, and simultaneously manages both temperature and power consumption. The 185 FPS ecosystem supports 20+ games, and POCO also provides measured figures: for a shooter, you get an average 184.55 FPS at 4.96 W, and for a MOBA, an average 164.53 FPS at 3.94 W.
The controls go the other way. The touch layer samples at 480 times per second with up to ten fingers, the instant touch sampling frequency in Game Turbo mode is 4800 Hz, and the gyroscope samples 200 times per second. There’s also Sound by Bose Game Audio, designed to enhance enemy footsteps and sharpen spatial audio perception.
6,9 inches, 185 Hz and peak brightness of 10 000 nits
The display is POCO HyperRGB AMOLED with a 6.9-inch diagonal (in reality, exactly 6.85 inches) and a resolution of 2608 × 1200 pixels. On the F9 Ultra, the M11 panel debuts—thanks to a new green-emitting material, it delivers 20% higher light efficiency and a 5% longer rated lifespan.
POCO doesn’t hold back on brightness: 10 000 nits for 1% of the display area, 4500 nits for a quarter of the area, 2200 nits in HBM mode, and typically 850 nits. Minimum brightness can be lowered to 1 nit, which you’ll appreciate in bed. Contrast is 5 000 000 : 1, with 12-bit color depth, plus DCI-P3, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and protective glass Gorilla Glass 7i. Your eyes are taken care of by Xiaomi Vision Care with four TÜV Rheinland certifications.
The first POCO with 200 MPx and a periscope
Cameras are the part where POCO has kept things grounded so far. The F9 Ultra is the brand’s first model with a 200 MPx main sensor—with an aperture of f/1.68, optical image stabilization, a 2μm 16-in-1 Super Pixel technology, and a six-lens optical setup. Next to it sits a 50 MPx periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom (120 mm, f/3.0, OIS), which supports 10x lossless zoom, 20x AI zoom, and telemacro from 30 centimeters. The trio is completed by a 50 MPx ultra-wide camera with a 17 mm focal length and an f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, there’s a 32 MPx selfie camera recording in 4K at 30 fps. The rear cameras support 8K video at 30 fps and 4K at 30 and 60 fps, plus a logarithmic profile, slow-motion up to 1920 frames per second, and a stabilized ShootSteady mode.
A battery for two days, plus a subwoofer built right into the phone
The battery has 8050 mAh, and it’s the largest cell the POCO F series has ever had. POCO promises two-day battery life and a six-year battery lifespan. It charges at 100 W wired — to 100% in 50 minutes — and 50 W wirelessly, reaching half in 37 minutes. In reverse, it delivers 27 W wired and 22.5 W wirelessly.
But the most interesting part is the audio. In addition to two symmetrical 1115D speakers, the phone also has a dedicated 1620 subwoofer, creating a full-fledged 2.1 system — something you won’t find anywhere else. It was tuned by Bose and offers two sound profiles, dynamic and balanced, plus fifteen-step volume tuning so the sound stays detailed even at low volume and doesn’t distort at full blast.
Body, connectivity, and what else we know
The phone measures 163.49 × 77.94 × 8.74 mm and weighs 235 grams. The back panel is made of fiberglass, the frame is micro-beveled metal, and the photo module has a flat metal frame. The rating is IP68, meaning it can be submerged up to 1.5 meters for half an hour. Unlocking is handled by an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built directly into the display.
The signal is improved by Xiaomi Surge T1+ Tuner and seven gaming antennas — according to POCO, this means up to 24% better mobile signal, 35% better Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth, and 19% more accurate GPS. There’s also Xiaomi Offline Communication, which lets you make calls even where there’s no signal. You also get Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and eSIM. In the box, you’ll find an adapter, a cable, and a case.
Memory, colors, and price
The POCO F9 Ultra comes in three configurations: 12 + 256 GB, 16 + 512 GB, and 16 GB + 1 TB. You can choose from two colors — Dark Cherry and black.
When you buy from official sellers in Europe, POCO also includes one free display replacement within six months, plus trial periods for Spotify Premium, YouTube Premium, and Google AI Pro. The display replacement applies only to units from the official distribution, not to phones imported from China.

Do you have F8 Ultra? Keep it. This is one of those years where the difference between the generations is surprisingly small. Both phones have the same chip Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with almost identical clock speeds — in POCO’s own tests, the AnTuTu difference is just under 6%. The same is true for the VisionBoost D8 graphics co-processor, 50W wireless charging, Bose sound with a subwoofer, IP68 rating, and Bluetooth 6.0.
So you practically get three things: 185 Hz instead of 120 Hz, a noticeably brighter display, and above all a battery that's 1550 mAh larger. But you pay for it because the new model is 17 grams heavier and almost a millimeter thicker. And when it comes to the camera, it’s not as straightforward as it looks — the F8 Ultra has a physically larger sensor (1/1.31 inch vs. the 200 MPx sensor in the new model), so higher resolution doesn’t automatically mean better low-light photos. If you’re not changing your phone specifically for battery life, you can safely skip this year.
If you have F7 Ultra, then the swap makes sense. The battery grew from 5300 to 8050 mAh, so by more than half. Bose sound with a dedicated subwoofer is added, a periscope telephoto with 120 mm instead of 60 mm, 185 Hz, significantly higher brightness, and 4K selfie video recording.
However, two things might annoy you. F7 Ultra has a sharper display — its 2K panel at 3200 × 1440 gives 526 pixels per inch, while F9 Ultra has 2608 × 1200. And it charges faster, since it supports 120 W versus 100 W on the new model. With a battery that's 2750 mAh larger, charging time in practice evens out, but on paper it’s a step back.
