Are you looking for a new, affordable smartphone, but none of the models from the current lineup has caught your eye? Redmi, the Chinese Xiaomi’s дочер brand, is preparing an international launch of a global model called Redmi Note 11 4G.
Redmi Note 11 4G is also coming with an unexpected change in the specifications
The new model called Redmi Note 11 was officially unveiled in China just a few weeks ago. And it’s this smartphone—whose technical specs we’ve known for some time—that’s now set for the global market. Unlike the Chinese version, the global model will also be available in a version that supports 4G networks and will bring one important surprise from the manufacturer.
If we look at information from the source NotebookCheck, the new Redmi Note 11 4G should, in its global version, offer a more closely unspecified processor from the American brand Qualcomm. This would be a change, considering that the aforementioned Chinese version of the phone came with a different chip—specifically MediaTek Helio G88.
Will we get the premiere of the Snapdragon 680 processor?
According to unofficial reports and leaks, we should also see the debut of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor in Europe. This budget-friendly processor supports 4G connectivity (2.4 GHz) and supports displays with a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz.
In addition, as part of the global version of the model Redmi Note 11 4G, we should also see multiple configurations. Specifically, it should include versions with 6 GB RAM / 64 GB, 6 GB RAM / 128 GB, and 8 GB RAM / 128 GB of internal storage. The starting price of this device should be around from €176 / $198.
If this information becomes real, the rumours will be confirmed again that the entire mid-range smartphone series, Redmi Note 11, will also arrive on our market with different processors – from Qualcomm. They will replace the MediaTek chips that these smartphones were launched with in their original Chinese version for the local, Chinese sales market.
