Redmi has introduced another model in the Note 12 series. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo, labeled as such, is the most powerful Redmi Note model in the history of this lineup—delivering with a great display, cameras, and a new processor that competes with last year’s high-end models.

Design-wise, it fits right into the lineup
Design-wise, it doesn’t differ from the rest of the series in any way. Once again, you get a device with sharply cut edges, measuring 161,11 x 74,95 x 7,9 mm and weighing 181 grams. It will launch in Carbon Black, Xinghai Blue, and Ice Feather White.
On the front, there’s a tempting 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2 400 x 1 080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a maximum brightness of up to 1 000 nits.
The display supports 12-bit colors, offers 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 spectrum, and the front selfie camera in its small cutout has a resolution of 16 MPx.
The most powerful member of the series thanks to Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo wants to impress also in terms of performance, bringing a new processor—Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with 5G support. It’s a 4-nanometer chipset that performs very similarly to last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship.
For example, in the well-known AnTuTu Benchmark, this processor achieved a score of more than the amazing 1 million points; in the Geekbench 5.4 Multi-core test with 3970 points, it even beat the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. These interesting results were brought by the portal Notebookcheck.
Designed for the Android 13 operating system with the MIUI 14 interface, it supports up to 16 GB RAM of LPDDR5x type, along with up to a 1-terabyte storage UFS 3.1. This is truly top-tier performance for a mid-range smartphone, and it also features the largest memory capacities used so far in the Redmi Note series. There’s also a 3,725 mm steam chamber for heat dissipation.
64 MPx with OIS and 67-watt charging
The main rear camera has a resolution of 64 MPx with optical stabilization, plus an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and just a 2-megapixel macro. You can record videos in 4K at 30 fps. What’s interesting is that the phone also includes a 3.5mm audio jack on the body.
On top of that, you get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and dual stereo speakers. There’s a built-in 5 000 mAh battery inside the device, supporting 67-watt fast charging. Of course, this powerful adapter is included in the box.
Prices in China are fantastic

The price of this smartphone’s special edition was set on the Chinese market at 2399 yuan (322 €) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version.
