A sub-brand of Chinese Xiaomi, Redmi, is preparing two new devices: Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. They also already passed the important TENAA certification, which revealed key technical specifications.
Two new smartphones have passed certification
The first leaks about a trio of Redmi smartphones came from a reliable source, Digital Chat Station. The full thirteenth series has also been revealed in the EEC certification. Specifically, it’s Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+.
Besides the name, we learned more technical details about the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ models. These smartphones have IMEI certification and now they’ve also obtained the well-known TENAA certification. Thanks to that, we’ve also uncovered the key technical specifications.
Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+
Upcoming “Pro” smartphones of the Redmi Note 13 series are certified in TENAA with model codes 23090RA98C and 2312DRA50C. The certification confirms that the upcoming devices will offer 5G connectivity. The global variant of the Note 13 Pro+ (23090RA98C) was then logged in the EHS certification under number 23090RA98G (“C” and “G” are the Chinese and global versions).
Both devices are expected to offer a 6.7″ AMOLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution (2712 x 1220 pixels) and a high refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The duo should also come with two different processors with clock speeds of 2.4 GHz and 2.8 GHz. So far, however, we only know one of them: the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+, paired with the ARM Immortalis-G715 graphics chip.
Redmi Note 13 Pro will be available with 6 GB, 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of RAM, plus 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage. Pro will measure 161.15 × 74.24 × 7.98 mm and weigh 187 grams. The 5160 mAh (typical) battery will support fast 67 W charging.
200 MPx Samsung camera, Android 13 with MIUI 15 custom skin
Next, the top model in the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ series will offer dimensions of 161.43 × 74.2 × 9.0 mm and a weight of 203.96 grams. It will be available in versions with 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, and 18 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of storage. Pro+ will come with a 5020 mAh battery and ultra-fast 120 W charging.
Both smartphones will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 200 MPx primary sensor (Samsung HP3). It will be complemented by an 8 MPx ultra-wide-angle (Sony IMX355) and a 2 MPx depth macro lens (OmniVision OV2B10). The operating system will be Android 13, enhanced with the brand-new MIUI 15 interface.
