In a few previous articles on our website, you could read that Redmi plans to introduce a model lineup in its home market Redmi Note 9. We have more information available.
In the meantime, the company has already managed to announce the official launch date for smartphones in this series on Chinese social media. Thanks to active leakers and messages shared by the manufacturer itself, we now have more specifications revealed.

As you can see in the image below, Redmi plans to launch the Redmi Note 9 lineup smartphones in the coming days. Specifically, we’re talking about the date 26.11. 2020 and 20:00 local time. For us, that’s one hour in the afternoon.
Through the image we also get the official design that these smartphones are expected to come with. The company has so far revealed only the round camera module with four sensors, following the example of POCO X3 NFC, next to which sits the flash. In the picture, we can also see a large-capacity side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Several models
From Chinese sources, it has been reported online that the Redmi Note 9 model lineup will consist of, besides the base device, three more smartphones. This information is confirmed to some extent by another photo from the MIUI system and several certifications.
Apparently, alongside the Note 9 smartphone, the following devices will also be introduced: Note 9S, Note 9 Pro, and Note 9 Pro Max. Some smartphone specs have already been revealed, but for the biggest model, the Note 9 Pro Max, we still don’t know much.
The base Redmi Note 9 will feature a 6.53″ IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and a cutout in the top-left corner. It will house a front selfie camera with a resolution of 13 MPx.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro will offer several improvements right away. The IPS LCD type display will grow to 6.67″, while the resolution will remain the same, as will the cutout, but the refresh rate will be a beautiful 120 Hz. So you definitely won’t lack for a smooth user experience.
In this case, sufficient performance will be handled by a Qualcomm processor called Snapdragon 750G. Up front we expect a 16 MPx selfie sensor, and on the back, a 108 MPx main Samsung HM2 lens, which surprisingly is worse than the first generation.
The battery is listed at 4820 mAh, while fast 33 W charging definitely won’t be missing. The smartphone measures 165.4 × 76.8 × 9 mm and weighs a bit more, specifically 214.5 grams.
