Redmi comes with a new model called Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which immediately caught the attention of fans of high-performance smartphones. It is the very first smartphone on the market that uses a brand-new processor Snapdragon 8s Gen4 from Qualcomm, and it also comes with a huge 7550 mAh battery plus fast charging up to 90 W.
The global POCO F7 launch will be in our FB group
The global expected POCO F7 will be based on the Chinese Redmi Turbo 4 Pro model, but we expect changes in the specs—at least in the battery capacity. For now, no specs for the global POCO F7 have been confirmed.
Premium design, top-tier display
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will impress with its premium body that’s just 7.98 mm thick, along with an aerospace-grade aluminum frame processed using CNC machining and sandblasting. The display is framed by thin bezels: only 1.5 mm on three sides and 1.9 mm on the chin.

The corners have an elegant 12.4 mm radius of curvature, ensuring better ergonomics. Bend resistance up to 70 kg is proof of a solid build. Plus, the phone offers high protection with IP68 certification, making it resistant to water and dust.
The centerpiece on the front is a large 6.83″ OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1280 px and a pixel density of 447 ppi. The display reaches an extreme brightness of up to 3200 nits, with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protective glass. Other display specs include 3840 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
The first in the world with the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen4
Built on a modern 4nm manufacturing process by TSMC, Snapdragon 8s Gen4 uses a 1+3+2+2 configuration. That means one Cortex-X4 big core clocked up to 3.2 GHz, three performance Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, two A720 cores at 2.8 GHz, and two more power-efficient cores at 2.0 GHz. Overall, it’s an octa-core CPU that, according to the manufacturer, delivers up to 31% higher performance compared to the previous Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Cooling is handled by a massive cooling system with a surface area of up to 6000 mm² and a dual-direction 3D cooling technology. It’s complemented by a software optimization suite—Xiaomi Rage Engine 4.0. From the hardware side, we also have to mention the most modern LPDDR5X memory chips for RAM and UFS 4.1 for storage, used in the most powerful flagship models for 2025.
50 MPx sensor from Sony
The rear camera is housed in an all-metal module and combines a 50 MPx main sensor with the Sony LYT-600 sensor. It features a 6P lens, a large 1/1.95″ sensor size, f/1.5 aperture, and supports 4-in-1 pixel binning to achieve a 1.6 μm size.
There’s also optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharper photos even in worse lighting. The second rear sensor is a 8 MPx ultra-wide lens, ideal for capturing wide scenes.
The front camera has a resolution of 20 MPx and uses the OV20B sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 1/4″ sensor size. It supports a high-resolution portrait mode and multiple creative options like cinematic filters, watermarks, a document mode, and quick photos by touch, gesture, or voice commands. It also includes the “floating shutter” feature, a timer, and a teleprompter.
A wide range of advanced modes are available: panorama, long exposure, night video mode, dynamic photos 2.0, ID card copying mode, a cinematic notch format, high-speed sequential shooting 50 shots, or extreme slow-motion footage.
Video features:
- 4Video: 30 / 60 fps
- 1080p Video: 30 / 60 fps
- 1080p slow-motion: 120 / 240 / 960 fps
- 720p video: 30 fps

An unreal 7550 mAh battery built into a 8 mm frame
The latest Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery type has a typical capacity of 7550 mAh (at least 7410 mAh) and is an integrated lithium-ion polymer battery that can’t be removed. This is how the manufacturer managed to fit a huge battery into a body just 7.98 mm thick, which is simply impressive. It looks like smartphone batteries are finally seeing real technological progress!
The phone is equipped with advanced chips Xiaomi Surge P2 for fast charging and Xiaomi Surge G1 for intelligent battery management. It supports 90 W wired fast charging and 22.5 W wired reverse charging. Xiaomi also states that after 4 years of use, the battery should still reach 80% of its capacity.
The device is compatible with QC3+ / PD2.0 / PD3.0 protocols, and charging is handled via a reversible USB Type-C port. In the box (in China), you’ll also find a standard 90 W charging adapter that supports Power Delivery (PD) standards too, so you can use it for other devices as well.
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro supports features like one-kilometer wireless positioning (works only in China), wet-hand control (version 2.0), an infrared remote controller, NFC, and stereo speakers.
Exclusive Harry Potter edition with a unique design
For fans of the wizarding world, the brand also released a limited edition Redmi Turbo 4 Pro Harry Potter Edition that brings a one-of-a-kind design and themed accessories.
This model is named “Grow and Fearless”, and its back is made using a special nano-lithographic technology with a holographic 3D silhouette effect of the figure, visible to the naked eye. Around the main camera module, you’ll find a diagonal DECO frame with glossy lines that accentuates the device’s magical theme.
The edition with the 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage configuration is on sale for 2799 yuan, which is about €390 / CZK 9050. The smartphone comes in an elegant black-and-gold gift box with themed accessories, including a custom SIM eject pin, a protective case with Harry Potter graphics, and a special charging adapter.
This version is a real treat not only for Harry Potter fans, but also for collectors and anyone who’s into unusual smartphone designs.
