The top-tier Roborock S7 Max Ultra was last available in March 2024 for a price over 800 € on the e-shop Gshopper. Since then, we haven’t seen it in stock—but now we found a brutal deal on AliExpress in a French warehouse, where, thanks to a coupon, it’s available for less than half of its original price of 1199 €!

For a price below 600 €, you get the former flagship from Roborock, while even current new models in these price ranges have a tough job competing with it. This is a truly top-class vacuum cleaner that we’ve been using since 2023, and we can recommend it for 2025 as well 👍.

This process is done through the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. Two things matter: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary in the Promo code field. After you click Pay now, you can’t add it anymore.

Extreme performance

The model name with the word Ultra always brings high expectations. And this time is no different: the Roborock S7 Max Ultra delivers suction power up to 5500 Pa. It easily removes all kinds of dirt, whether from hard floors or carpets.

Cleaning efficiency is also boosted by the rubber rotating brush, which isn’t fixed in place. Instead, thanks to its flexibility, the brush can adapt even to uneven surfaces, staying as close as possible to the floor being cleaned.

Reactive Tech: obstacle avoidance and PreciSense LiDAR

While LiDAR isn’t new, the manufacturer is constantly working on improvements. The system is called PreciSense LiDAR, and it’s a laser system that calculates the distance of individual objects from the vacuum using light beams and their reflections.

The Roborock S7 Max Ultra also features additional sensors and a 3D camera, which allow it to avoid obstacles. Thanks to Reactive Tech, you don’t have to move all obstacles away before vacuuming, because it avoids them efficiently.

In the app you’ll also find a 3D map, or the classic 2D one. On the 3D map, you can also add furniture and the type of flooring.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra and RockDock Ultra

The RockDock Ultra docking station is superbly equipped and brings a new level of convenience for truly hands-off vacuuming and mopping. Inside, you’ll find three containers: one for mopping water, one for dirty water, and a third one that hides the dirt bag.

But it’s not some small compact charging station. Its dimensions are 422 x 504 x 420 mm, and since it offers lots of functions, that’s completely understandable. After finishing vacuuming, the Roborock S7 Max Ultra returns to its charging station, where the contents of its dirt container are emptied into the bag inside the docking station.

In the box you’ll also find one extra replacement bag, because this is a one-time setup. Once you fill it, you simply throw it away and replace it with a new one.

Improved mopping with mop drying

VibraRise is another of the technologies this great robotic vacuum cleaner comes with. It’s a mopping system that makes the mop vibrate, which improves its effectiveness. Most robotic vacuums simply wipe the floor with a damp mop cloth.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra delivers up to 30 % higher mopping efficiency compared to traditional robotic vacuum cleaners. Sonic mopping can make up to 3000 movements per minute, and combined with the fact that the mop is also pushed toward the floor, the vacuum will remove even dried-on dirt.

And what if you have carpets at home? That’s no problem at all for the new Roborock model. If mopping reaches the carpet, the mop automatically lifts and simply passes over the carpet.

Automatic water dispensing and mop drying

Since at the RockDock docking station we also have two containers for clean and dirty water, the vacuum first draws water from the container into its own (200 ml) tank that’s integrated in the vacuum. Then it dampens the mop at the docking station and the mopping process begins.

After a few minutes, it returns to the docking station to clean the mop and, if needed, refill the water. When it’s finished, the mop is cleaned again and even dried. So you don’t have to worry about the smell from a wet and dirty mop. You also don’t need to remove it and clean the cloth.

All of this is handled by the docking station, which has a movable brush at the bottom for cleaning the mop cloth, as well as a system for drying it.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra: Room mapping and customization

The first room mapping is very fast. After that, the Roborock app draws up a map of the room, which you can then customize. There’s also 3D visualization with furniture and flooring.

Automatic saving of maps from multiple floors is also a given. You’ll also find no-go zones that the app can suggest on its own, as well as the option to split or merge rooms or rename them.

The vacuum can vacuum or mop separately, and it can also do both at the same time. There are several vacuuming and mopping modes, cleaning only certain rooms, or a selected area on the map.

Battery, runtime, and voice control

The battery in the Roborock S7 Max Ultra vacuum cleaner is 5200 mAh and provides about 180 minutes of operation. Of course, runtime depends on the vacuuming or mopping level you use.

Voice control is also available in partnership with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Siri Shortcuts. That means you can control the robotic vacuum easily using voice commands.
