120° tilt adjustment
Most projectors from Wanbo were equipped with a small support that allowed the tilt to be adjusted in two positions. If that tilt didn’t suit you, you had to prop up the projector with something or mount it on a tripod, and then set the tilt using it.
However, the Wanbo T2 Ultra comes with an excellent upgrade in the form of smoothly adjustable tilt, thanks to the new design of its stand. The projector still keeps the brand’s typical design at its core, but customers will definitely appreciate this improvement.
Up to a 120-degree angle adjustment in the vertical direction lets you, for example, project onto the ceiling. You can enjoy your favorite movie like this too—while lying comfortably in bed.
Wanbo T2 Ultra: Android TV 11
Many people, including us, will also appreciate the official support for the Android TV system version 11.0, thanks to which you get a TV-optimized system and control via a remote. So you don’t need any TV stick with the projector, because the same system is built in.
You can also look forward to support for many apps, including popular streaming services like Netflix, HBO MAX, and Disney+. There’s also Widevine L1 security. In the Google app store, you’ll find not only KODI, but also various multimedia players, as well as games and web browsers.
Native 1080p resolution
The Wanbo T2 Ultra projector comes with native Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 px. Its display technology is LCD with a lamp life of up to 20,000 hours.
A projected image can be 45 to 140″ at a distance of the projector from the wall or screen of 1.2 – 3.8 m. In this case, the brightness is 500 ANSI lumens with a contrast of 2500:1. An AI image engine also helps achieve higher picture quality. It delivers a more realistic image and dynamic colors with lots of details.
Automatic image adjustment
Among the interesting features are four automatic image adjustments. The first is automatic focus. Forget manual focusing with a dial—Wanbo T2 Ultra focuses automatically.
The second feature is automatic corner correction, which adjusts the picture so it isn’t distorted even when the projector isn’t placed perfectly perpendicular to the wall or screen.
The third, no less interesting feature, is obstacle avoidance in the image. If there’s a flower, a vase, or any other object near the wall that would get in the way in the picture, the Wanbo T2 Ultra will automatically shrink the image so that this object is out of it. The last of the four is automatic image size adjustment.
Sound and connectivity
Great sound is handled by a pair of 5W speakers, complemented by a dual bass diagram.
Even here, the manufacturer doesn’t provide any more detailed hardware specifications, so we don’t know what’s inside. Let’s at least mention the connectivity: you get HDMI, USB, and an audio jack. Wireless connectivity also includes WiFi in both bands, 2.4 and 5 GHz.
