Wanbo X5 Pro: 1100 ANSI lumens and built-in Netflix
The Wanbo X5 Pro projector delivers sharper edges, a Dark Blue color rendering, with gold accents on the construction, and dimensions of 252 x 246 x 115 mm. The total device weight is then 2.7 kilograms. Power is handled by a local European adapter (EU Plug, 220 – 240 V / 50 – 60 Hz).
The main advantage is its LED light source, which uses LCD projection technology, and it has a maximum brightness of up to 1100 ANSI lumens. So you won’t have any trouble projecting even in dim or dark rooms.
The maximum resolution, native, is 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels), and this also applies to Netflix, though it can also handle decoding 4K content. On the hardware side, you get the standard capacity of 2 GB RAM memory and 16 GB of internal storage.
The projector is equipped with the ASA 3.0 system, which includes automatic focusing, automatic correction of keystone distortion, automatic object avoidance, and automatic calibration.
The benefit is multiple projection modes, including an inverted mode, aspect ratios 16:9 or 4:3, and you can also adjust the screen size from 40″ – 140″ (depending on the projection distance from 1.1 – 3.9 m). It also has zoom from 50% to 100%.
The manufacturer also thought about quality audio and integrated two 2 x 5 W stereo speakers directly into the projector. You’ll also be pleased with rich connectivity, including HDMI, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), and Bluetooth 5.0. The operating system is the new Google TV, with an integrated Google Play app store, and it also supports Netflix (1080p).
There’s also Chromecast technology support, so you can wirelessly cast the picture from your smartphone to the screen. Other integrated Google services include Hey Google voice control and of course YouTube. Other services here also include Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, and Apple TV.
In addition, in everyday use you’ll appreciate the low noise of this projector, which is up to 26 decibels. There’s also a high-quality glass lens with high light transmittance, and the stated long service life of the light source—up to 20,000 hours.
