It’s true that a few weeks ago we reported that Redmi K30 Ultra and Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra won’t be available outside China in Europe. But that wasn’t the case.
Xiaomi indeed officially stated on its Twitter profile that these 2 smartphones do not plan to launch on the global market. However, in the last few hours there’s evidence suggesting Xiaomi may have changed its mind.
Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra on the global version?
It seems Xiaomi has changed its mind by 180 degrees, and the latest move is that the company has had these two devices certified by two organizations that usually do nothing else but verify smartphones coming to our country—or Europe in general.
These are the Google Console and Bluetooth SIG certificates.
As you already know, the certifications mentioned above Google Console and Bluetooth SIG always relate to smartphones or other tech devices that are supposed to hit the market soon in Europe as well. Among the most recent devices certified for our country are, for example, new headphones Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Pro .
Now, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra have also been added to the list—models that were not originally planned for the global market.
As you can see above, we have certifications from Google that show a brief list of specifications that match the originals released in China. In reality, we know that devices coming to Europe often have different features, but this time that isn’t the case.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865, while the Redmi K30 Ultra will get the MediaTek Dimension 1000+. Of course, both will have the latest Android 10 as well.
On the second image, we can see another certification confirming the arrival of one of the two smartphones in the global version.

In the image above, we can see the certification for Redmi K30 Ultra coming from the Bluetooth SIG database. Once again, it only hints that the devices are preparing for a global launch.
Why did Xiaomi decide on that?
Since fans of Xiaomi have created a public petition that received thousands of signatures, Xiaomi likely decided to listen and bring the ever-demanded smartphone models to the global market.
However, there’s also a fact that was shared on his own Twitter by the product manager Xiaomi, Daniel D. He said that smartphones for the global market will not arrive “for now”. Could it be that the right time has come?
