Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is preparing its next premium smartphone under the name Xiaomi 13 Ultra. And, according to fresh leaks, it should also come with a 1″ main camera sensor and up to 200 W charging.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra: These are the expected technical specs
After the company’s own CEO said that the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra will also be launched on the global market, we now have more information available. It comes from the trusted source Digital Chat Station.
This source also claims that the upcoming smartphone will include a 1″ main sensor for the camera, as well as certification and improvements from the German company Leica. Performance should then be handled by a new-generation processor called Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The primary sensor should, in addition to its physical size, offer 50 MPx resolution. And it should also be complemented by an ultra-wide sensor and a telephoto lens with a 48 MPx. resolution
Ultra-fast charging with up to 200 W power
Another device upgrade Xiaomi 13 Ultra should be ultra-fast charging. Xiaomi is trying to move closer to the competition, which charges its smartphones with power far exceeding 100 W. The new model will most likely offer proven 120 W charging, but the presence of 200 W technology is not out of the question either.
Xiaomi has a certificate for a technology rated at up to 210 W, but leaks suggest that for the 13 Ultra model it will opt for maximum power at the level of 200 W. This is mainly because the technology with the given rating is presumably a bit more advanced.
Internal testing indicates that this technology can charge a 4000 mAh smartphone battery to full capacity in just 8 minutes. And even though the company has not yet officially responded to this leak, all signs point to a November debut of this smartphone, which is extremely surprising, especially since the 12S Ultra is only a few weeks away.
Will we also get Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro?
According to recent speculation, we can also expect a device under the name Xiaomi 13 Pro. This model will feature a 6,7″ Samsung E6 AMOLED panel with 2K resolution. The panel will also come with quad-level curvature and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The base model called Xiaomi 13 will offer a slightly smaller 6,36″ display with 2,5D curvature and slim bezels around the screen. It will also come with 120 Hz.
The front camera on these smartphones will be handled with a single cutout in the middle, in the upper part of the device. The ceramic body of the flagship models has even already been BYD tested, but we still don’t know its final look.
The pair of smartphones will also include fast 50 W wireless charging, as well as faster wired charging (not specified in detail). This pair of devices should also hit the market in November. And directly with the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
