Our favorite Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is working on a new “T” series of smartphones, which will also include the Xiaomi 14T Pro. It also showed up in a well-known benchmark test that demonstrates the device’s high performance.
Xiaomi 14T Pro: These are the first benchmark test results
The Xiaomi 13T was really popular, and it’s expected to get its successor about a year after its release. That timeline lands in September 2024. And the upcoming Xiaomi 14T model has already received the necessary NBTC and IMEI certifications, and it was also spotted in the HyperOS operating system code, as well as in the FV-5 database of camera features.
Today we have more information, specifically from the well-known benchmark test Geekbench 4.0. In this test, a device appeared under the model designation 2407PFN8EG, which matches the other certification pages, and is linked to the upcoming Xiaomi 14T Pro.
The database mentions a motherboard with the code name “rothko”, consisting of eight cores with a maximum clock speed of 3.47 GHz. There’s also a Mali-G720 GPU chip on board. This suggests the device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor.

From the other specifications, we know about 12 GB of RAM, and additional configurations may also go on sale. The operating system will be Android 14, along with Xiaomi’s HyperOS skin.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro smartphone scored 9369 in the GeekBench test (“Single-Core” test) and 26,083 points (“Multi-Core” test). From more details, we know the phone will offer a 50 MP main sensor, as well as a 32 MP front camera.
If the rumors are confirmed that it will be a rebranded Chinese smartphone Redmi K70 Ultra, we can expect a 6.67″ OLED display with 1.5K resolution. It will also offer a high refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, plus a maximum brightness of 4000 nits. The Chinese version is sold in a top configuration of 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage.
