Xiaomi 14T Pro has passed its first certification, and we know the camera specifications

The Chinese company Xiaomi is already preparing the upcoming flagship smartphone Xiaomi 14T Pro. Among the first things we already know are the specifications of the built-in cameras.

Xiaomi 14T Pro: These are the first leak details

The long-awaited T-series smartphone, Xiaomi 14T Pro, is one step closer to its official launch. New information comes from NBTC certification, a well-known authority in Thailand’s smartphone market.

As the first piece of information, we know the device model designation, specifically „2407FPN8EG“. However, if we take a closer look at the leaks, the most interesting specifications relate to photography features.

So far we don’t know the exact details, but we know the main camera will offer a resolution of 12,6 MPx. However, it could be a technique called “pixel binning” with full resolution at 50 MPx. Then the front camera will offer 8,1 MPx, or, at full resolution, it may be 16/32 MPx.

MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, Leica cameras, and up to 120 W fast charging

It’s also possible that the upcoming Xiaomi 14T Pro, will be a variant of the upcoming Chinese device Redmi K70 Ultra. And this smartphone should be praised for the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, chipset as well as a 1.5″ OLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.

And these specifications suggest that it will be a mid-range to upper mid-range device with exceptional performance.

Other equipment includes a 5500 mAh battery that will support ultra-fast charging up to 120 W. Unlike the K70 Ultra, the global version of Xiaomi 14T Pro should also support wireless charging, with power details not yet specified.

Another strong point of the Xiaomi 14T Pro model is its collaboration with the Leica brand. It’s expected that this partnership will again deliver high-quality photo output. The three-camera system (50 MPx + 8 MPx + 2 MPx macro), however, is a slight step back compared to Redmi K70 Pro, which offers a combination of 50 MPx (main), 50 MPx (telephoto), and 12 MPx (ultrawide).
