Xiaomi 15 as a compact flagship phone
In a world of huge smartphones, it’s really satisfying to see a relatively smaller model too—the Xiaomi 15. Even though the 6.36-inch display isn’t the absolute smallest, it’s still more compact than most current top models. Small bezels around the screen also help by saving a significant amount of space. On this diagonal you get a TCL M9 OLED display with a resolution of 2670 x 1200 px.

Thanks to LTPO, you can variably change the refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz. It’s a good way to optimize power consumption. The maximum peak brightness reaches up to 3200 nits. HDR10+ / Dolby Vision content with 68 billion colors is supported.
Scratch and break resistance is provided by the durable Xiaomi Ceramic Glass 2.0 glass. The overall dimensions of the device are 152.3 x 71.2 x 8.08 mm and the weight is 191 g.
Top performance on the market thanks to Snapdragon 8 Elite
What would a flagship be without one of the new top-tier chips—here that’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, using modern 3 nm technology. Expect extreme raw power and, at the same time, great energy efficiency.
The Adreno 830 graphics accelerator will ensure a smooth gaming experience. A cooling system called Wing-LHP will try to maintain consistent performance without throttling due to heat.
The Qualcomm XPAN technology enables high-quality audio playback over Wi-Fi. Compared to Bluetooth, it offers a longer range and a lossless stream of 24-bit 96 kHz audio.
12 GB of RAM is LPDDR5X, and the manufacturer has opted for 256 GB / 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage, which is a bit slower than the UFS 4.1 found in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra model. The chip also opens the door to modern 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.
There’s also NFC for contactless payments, plus an infrared port that can be used to control home or office electronics remotely. The USB-C port is in the 3.2 Gen 1 version.
A camera setup that definitely won’t get boring
If you love taking photos, Xiaomi 15 has plenty to offer. The camera system was developed in collaboration with Leica, and you get a 50 MPx 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor for the primary lens.
It has a brightness of f/1.62 and optical image stabilization (OIS). The second sensor is a 50 MPx unit with an ultra-wide, 115-degree field of view. And then there’s also a 2.6x telephoto lens with 50 MPx resolution.
All lenses come equipped with premium LEICA SUMMILUX optics, which ensures professional quality for the captured shots. Post-processing also plays an important role today, and the manufacturer has added improved Xiaomi AISP 2.0 Image Processing. The front “selfie” camera has a 32 MPx resolution and an aperture value of f/2.0.
HyperAI artificial intelligence can be extremely useful
On the Xiaomi 15, you’ll find the Android 15 operating system with the HyperOS 2 graphical interface. The software suite also includes Xiaomi HyperAI, which brings various tools powered by generative AI.
Thanks to AI, you’ll be able to write text, recognize voice, and edit images—including removing unwanted objects from photos or enhancing how they look, for example by beautifying the sky. Xiaomi HyperCore is then essentially a technology developed for extra protection of your mobile device.
Compact body, up to 5240 mAh battery
In this global version, the battery capacity is only slightly reduced compared to the China model. It reaches 5240 mAh instead of 5400 mAh. However, this drop is much less drastic than with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. You get 90 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, powered by Xiaomi HyperCharge.
Unlocking the smartphone works via an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. It’s placed directly in the display. The design of the Xiaomi 15 won’t be bothered even by dust or water — it features a IP68 certification.
These are the official prices for the global market
On the global market, two memory versions will be sold: 12 GB / 256 GB priced at 999 €, and the 12 GB / 512 GB edition will cost 1099 €. You can choose from color options labeled Black, White, Green, and a special beautiful shade called Liquid Silver.
