By the end of 2025, Xiaomi will roll out its smart refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and other large appliances to international markets, expanding on the existing IoT device ecosystem.
Smart home under one app
For years, Xiaomi has been building an ecosystem of smart devices that can be controlled through the Mi Home app. The new big appliances will be a natural expansion of that ecosystem, so users will be able to manage their entire home from one app—from lighting and security systems to large home appliances.

According to experts, this is a significant move with which Xiaomi directly enters the competitive battle against established home appliance manufacturers. The expansion into the large home appliances segment also signals that Xiaomi has confidence in global logistics and supply chains. Shipping and distributing large appliances is more challenging compared to compact electronics, but the company is ready for this challenge.
