The Chinese company Xiaomi is constantly improving its MIUI interface. This time, it plans to bring back one of the most interesting features from the MIUI 8, which many die-hard fans will surely appreciate.

The return of a popular feature from MIUI 8

After listing the MIUI Pioneer Group working group, which focuses on improving and solving MIUI-related issues, the manufacturer announced the return of one of the most interesting features we’ve ever had.

As reported by a MyDrivers source, the MIUI development team decided to bring back a feature we lost in the past. The good news is mainly about the revival of a pair of performance modes. We could see them back in MIUI 8 under the labels “balanced mode” and “high performance mode.”

If we look back, this very pair of modes from MIUI 8 allowed you to adjust the performance and operation of a Xiaomi smartphone according to your current usage, so every user could optimize a certain level of performance itself.

The pair of modes is returning to the MIUI interface

The balanced mode allowed users to improve their experience with the MIUI interface. In general, it was focused on achieving the best possible smoothness while navigating the interface.

On the other hand, there was also the high performance mode available. This mode worked similarly to the well-known “Game Turbo” feature, where the smartphone’s hardware is unlocked to the maximum to deliver the highest available device performance. This will improve the use of demanding apps or the experience in graphically demanding games.

Thanks to these two modes, which will most likely be integrated as part of the new MIUI 13 system, system smoothness in everyday, day-to-day use can improve. The advantage is also the ability to unlock full performance in situations when you need it.
