The company Xiaomi also has a range of several types of headphones in its product portfolio. The latest release in the form of small but premium earphones is called Xiaomi Iron Ring Earphones, with the standout feature being its unique craftsmanship.
The design of these earphones is made from four specific parts.

The new model will offer a unique design with a detachable cable, while the headphone body itself is made up only of the mentioned 4 parts. Clear, high-quality sound will be ensured by hybrid transmission between two flexible metal arches.
A silicone membrane for distortion resistance is also included, and the system should additionally deliver a better listening experience than standard earphones. The earphones also received Hi-Res Audio certification from the Japan Audio Association, which means realistic sound and a high level of detail.
They also feature Sony LDAC technology, which transmits sound at a 3x higher quality than a standard Hi-Res Audio certified profile (990 vs 328 kbps).
As for the materials used, Xiaomi provides the earphones’ outer housing made from ceramic material and zirconium, so a material with excellent resistance to damage and scratches. In addition, it causes no sound distortion and, according to the manufacturer, it’s also more comfortable to wear than metal, which gives a feeling of coldness.
The manufacturer integrated a gold-plated MMCX interface, which prevents oxidation. The cable was made from OFC oxygen-free material and includes copper protective components. The outer braiding uses Kevlar fibers, which improve conductivity, prevent signal quality degradation, and also helps prevent the cable from tangling.
The earphones come with three different cables in the package—two of them include 3,5 mm audio connectors for connecting to selected smartphones or other audio systems, and the third one offers a USB Type-C connector for convenient connection to newer models.
The cables are interchangeable, but it’s also possible to use them wirelessly with a Bluetooth adapter. That’s included in the package and offers technology in the Bluetooth 5.0 version. It lets you listen to music wirelessly for up to 8 hours.
The premium technology and craftsmanship—as well as the universal use of the Xiaomi earphones—were also reflected in the bundle’s price. It definitely isn’t among the cheapest. The price on the Chinese market is set at 899 yuan, which is approximately 114 EUR / 2920 CZK after conversion. They haven’t appeared yet in the listings of international sellers.
