The buzz around Xiaomi’s new top smartphone models doesn’t die down, and while we wait for their European launch, we’ll imagine the original case made for Mi 10 series smartphones.
This isn’t the first time Xiaomi has brought original covers for its smartphones. Now we don’t mean the ones that are included as part of the smartphone accessory bundle. Even the Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi 9T, and Mi 9T Pro models have their own original covers in a wide range of colors.
Unlike them, though, with the Mi 10 it’s the first time the manufacturer has introduced an opening case. This will protect the entire smartphone and also has smart functions. It’s an opening, so-called flip case, which also has a small opening in the top corner. This lets you preview a small part of the screen.
Opening or closing the case allows the smartphone to identify it. In the closed position, in the corner of the screen where the case cutout is located, the smartphone displays the date, time, battery status, and notifications. It’s a practical feature that saves power and the user doesn’t have to open the case every time.
This new protective cover is available in black and orange, but for now only in China for 69 yuan. That’s approximately 9 € / 224 CZK, and we believe that with the launch of global versions, this accessory will be available to us too.
