Among the biggest highlights of the new model Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, you’ll also find a stunning telephoto lens capable of reaching up to 120x zoom.
The sensor, along with dual stabilization, lets you capture photos that are miles away from what a smartphone user would expect. Of course, in the good sense.
120-times zoom in action
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is equipped with a periscope telephoto lens that consists of a total of 5 smaller lenses. It also features OIS + EIS stabilization, thanks to which the camera can take fairly high-quality and sharp photos even at a long distance.
The results will pleasantly surprise you. Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra can photograph objects from quite far away, while still delivering sharp shots. It’s not an ultra-high-resolution you’d want to see, but you definitely won’t be disappointed.
If we take into account the distance from which a smartphone takes a photo of its subject – traffic signs, it really is impressive.
As you can also see in the images, the result is surprising in terms of distance, even if not in terms of shot resolution. Still, you can’t deny that the Mi 10 Ultra can likely take even better and higher-quality photos from far away using a tripod. So other devices can only quietly envy.
It’s clear that this technology isn’t ready for full-fledged photography yet, nor is it truly useful. The photos lack quality, sharpness, color gamut, and a lot more. Of course, you need to take it with a grain of salt.
The main camera is top-tier, and the 120x zoom is more for adding variety to your photography than for primary use. However, it’s worth noting that the results achieved with the Mi 10 Ultra smartphone at 5x zoom and 10x zoom are remarkable.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the king of photography
Let’s not forget that according to DxOMark, this new flagship from Xiaomi ranks first not only with the best camera on the market, but also with the most modern and precise telephoto lens that has ever been included in any smartphone.
