The Xiaomi Mi 10 model lineup is already familiar to us. However, many of you probably expected the arrival of newer, likely also more affordable versions, with the addition of “T”.
Since last year we got Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro smartphones, which were a huge success, it’s only logical that in 2020 the Chinese giant will also delight us with the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will impress even before the actual launch
Information about the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi has leaked online. More specifically, it’s the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro model, which is set to surprise extremely already with its paper specs.
The upcoming device, with the model designation M2007J3SG and the code name Xiaomi Apollo, is also expected to be available for the global market, which is definitely the most pleasing news.
After all, real fans of this company want a global version of the extreme Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra too, so at least the Mi 10T line will also reach us. However, some may be amused a bit by the design, revealed thanks to leaked photos.
It’s simply something original and unique—we haven’t seen anything like it before, but honestly, we can’t imagine it in real life yet. We’re talking now about a camera module, on top of which there’s one dimensionally large sensor, making it look like some kind of eye.
Extreme specs, but a cheaper LCD display
For now, let’s set the design aside and get to the real meat of what the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will offer. What surprised us most is the screen refresh rate, reaching up to 144 Hz. This kind of spec is typical of top-tier gaming monitors too.
The next piece of info might worry you, because it talks about using a cheaper LCD panel. As for the camera setup, you’ll be pleased to hear about the familiar 108 MPx sensor on the back, which is basically the physically largest lens dominating the back of the device.
Under it, there are two more cameras, still unknown, together with an LED flash. But one circle has only a special filling—which we assume is just a design element, so it looks like the upcoming novelty has even more cameras.
High performance, great endurance, and support for 5G
A 5 000 mAh battery is supposed to take care of the endurance for a single fast charge with power 33 W. It will power one of the most powerful mobile processors of today, the Snapdragon 865. With it comes support for the most modern fifth-generation networks (5G).
Even though the information about the used processor hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s very likely that we’ll see integration of exactly this chipset. The expected time for the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is estimated to be September this year. We don’t know whether we’ll also get a version without the “Pro” addition, but it’s more than possible.
