Just a few days ago, the Redmi brand introduced the eagerly awaited flagship K40-family smartphones to the world, named Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro. Device specs combined with unbelievable prices make for very tempting smartphones that are already set up for success.
Along with the recent release of another flagship model, Xiaomi Mi 11, the lightweight sibling Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite was also mentioned. With the approach of the arrival of this trimmed-down flagship, we’re now learning new and interesting details.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite will have a lot in common with Redmi K40
New reports about the expected Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite smartphone have leaked online. Supposedly, this phone will have a lot in common with the recently launched Redmi K40.
In the lineup, you’ll find a flagship display Samsung E4 AMOLED, with a size of 6,67″ and a resolution of Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, and HDR10+ technology.
Unlike the mentioned Redmi K40, Xiaomi 11 Lite will allocate room for the front selfie camera in the top-left corner. The fingerprint reader will follow the K40 model and be built into the side power button.

On the performance side, the phone will be powered by a high-performance mid-range processor called Qualcomm Snapdragon 775G, manufactured using modern 6 nm technology, and it could see its debut right in the Mi 11 Lite smartphone.
The triple-camera setup includes a 64 MPx main sensor, supported by an 8 MPx ultra-wide lens, and a final 5 MPx sensor (likely a tele-macro sensor). You can look forward to 6 / 8 GB of RAM, 64 / 128 GB of internal storage, a 4150 mAh battery, and 33 W fast charging.
The smartphone’s launch could reportedly take place as early as March, but we don’t have any more details about the release yet. We’ll continue to monitor the whole situation and publish all updates on our website and in the friendly Xiaomi Planet Facebook group.
