The official unveiling of the new flagship Xiaomi Mi 11 is expected on 29 December. It should be the very first phone with an integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Now we’ve learned a few more pieces of information about the upcoming release.
The best-equipped Xiaomi Mi 11 variant appeared on Geekbench
In the Geekbench benchmark app, the device is listed as Xiaomi M2011K2C. In the single-core test, it scored 1135 points, and in the multi-core test it reached 3642 points—quite impressive for a mobile phone.
More leaks suggest that a certain best-equipped variant from the Xiaomi Mi 11 lineup will come with up to 12 GB RAM. As for the software, the smartphone will run Android 11 with MIUI 12 as the user interface.
The already mentioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, together with the integrated graphics accelerator Adreno 660, will ensure top-tier performance in all situations. Whether you’re just browsing on Xiaomi Mi 11 or playing some graphically demanding games, you don’t need to worry that the latest—and so far best—chipset from the American giant Qualcomm won’t handle it.
Top-tier hardware in other areas too
The brutal high-end specifications are further underlined by the internal storage, which in the tested configuration reaches 512 GB. We should also note the display used in this model. It should be a Samsung panel with a 2K resolution. The refresh rate is reportedly capped at 120 Hz.
You’ll also be pleased with support for 120 W charging—another extremely high spec that makes the top-equipped device from the Xiaomi Mi 11 lineup stand out from the competition. However, that was the best-equipped model. The classic Mi 11 will be characterized by a slightly smaller 8 GB of RAM and only 55 W charging.
On the back, there will be three cameras. The primary one will have a resolution of 108 MPx, the secondary ultra-wide angle 13 MPx, and there will also be a 5 MPx macro camera for the third slot. A camera setup quite similar to the one in the predecessor Xiaomi Mi 10, isn’t it?
But we’re curious what cameras that hyped high-end model will bring us. We’ll probably learn more only after the official unveiling. And we’ll definitely keep you posted about any new features via an article on our website.
