If you’ve been keeping an eye on what’s happening around products from the Chinese giant Xiaomi, you definitely couldn’t have missed the legendary Mi Band fitness tracker series. The line also includes the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 model—and we’ve got great news for you.
Recently, you could find an article on our site about the availability of the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 version with NFC support in Russia, but according to the latest information, with this handy helper you’ll be able to pay in more European countries as well.
Mi Band 4 NFC
As you surely know, the company launched two variants of its fourth-gen band. One was the standard band, and the other was the same model, only with NFC support. Until recently, NFC could be used only in its home country, China, but now you can pay across Europe too.

Thanks to Xiaomi’s young partnership with Mastercard, you can use contactless payment services not only in China. Until now, it was only Russia, but now Belarus and Ukraine have been added.
Banks in these countries will therefore allow users to use the NFC chip in their fitness tracker for convenient payments by simply holding your wrist to the terminal. Of course, you’ll need a Mastercard-issued card.
When (or if at all) we’ll get the option to pay with this band in more countries is still uncertain. It’s very likely that more countries will be added to the list of supported regions, and we’ll be hoping that Slovakia and the Czech Republic will be among them.
