Xiaomi’s July European press conference brought several new products to our markets, including the beefy Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34″.
Loyal Xiaomi fans already know this monitor very well, because its Chinese version has been available for some time now. However, it’s now officially available for European markets too.
It pleasantly surprised with the European price
Since many of you already know this gaming Xiaomi monitor well and the European version doesn’t differ in specs at all, we’ll start with the price.
In Europe, the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34″ will be available for the official price of €399, which is a very reasonable deal for the specs.
You’ll also be pleased to learn that Xiaomi in Europe offers a 3-year warranty for this monitor.
Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34″
Xiaomi equipped the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34″ with a large 34-inch curved display with an 21:9 aspect ratio. The monitor comes with a practical stand that allows height adjustment, rotation, and wall mounting.
The display has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels (WQHD) and a fast refresh rate of 144 Hz. The manufacturer states a panel response time of 4 ms (gray-to-gray).
As the name suggests, the monitor is curved and features a deep 1500R curve, which maximizes the gaming experience or the experience of watching multimedia content.
AMD Freesync and 121% sRGB
The lineup includes AMD Freesync Premium, which takes care of synchronizing the frame rate between the monitor and the graphics card. Thanks to this technology, the monitor can render every frame without delay, eliminating the so-called stuttering or laggy rendering when gaming.
The Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34″ has a low blue light emission mode, and the color gamut is rated at 121% sRGB, meaning the display practically delivers 16.7 million true colors.
Further display specs include brightness up to 300 nits and a high contrast ratio of 3000:1. For connectivity, you get two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, and there’s also an audio output.
The manufacturer of the display panel itself, placed in this monitor, is most likely Samsung, even though Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed it.
