Full HD and extremely small bezels
As we mentioned at the beginning, this monitor is just the European version of the Redmi Display 1A monitor. It’s quite thin—at its thinnest point, it’s only 7.3 mm. The display has a 23.8-inch diagonal, is made with IPS technology, and offers a sufficient Full HD resolution (1 920 x 1 080 pixels).
Since it’s a basic office monitor, the display refresh rate is the usual 60 Hz. You’ll also be pleased with the really small bezels around the screen. The larger bezel is located below the display.
The display provides quality colors that you can enjoy from truly sharp angles up to 178 degrees. The contrast is set at 1000:1. There’s also protection against unwanted blue light, so it helps protect your eyes.
The stand includes a hinge at the point where the monitor connects, so you can gently tilt it to suit your work. Unfortunately, you can’t adjust the height. Otherwise, the whole monitor is made of quality plastic in a dark gray color. On the back, there’s a large Xiaomi logo. The monitor dimensions are 539.2 × 181.2 × 419.5 mm, and the weight is 2.7 kilograms.
Connector equipment is at a basic level
On the back of the monitor, in the plastic mold, there’s a power button, a power-in connector, a VGA port, and an HDMI port—so you can connect even older devices via VGA. The monitor doesn’t include built-in speakers, which we also wouldn’t expect at this price.
