20 000 mAh and fast 45W charging
The Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 Pro comes right away with several high-end features. To be precise, it’s practically packed with features. It includes up to three connectors – 2 x standard USB-A connectors and one USB Type-C, through which the power bank is charged.
However, it also serves as an output, and the USB Type-C connector has a maximum output (and input) power of up to 45 W (15V/3A).
The remaining two USB connectors only provide output, and they’re suitable for charging smartphones or smartwatches.
Devices charge at values of 5V/2.4A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A. When using both USB connectors, the output power is maximum 15W for each connector.
It can also charge laptops
The USB Type-C connector is also used to charge the power bank itself, which at full 45W power takes just 4.5 hours.
Given the 20 000 mAh capacity, that’s a very solid charging time. For fast charging, though, you also need the right adapter with a power of 45W.
If you charge it with a standard 10W adapter, charging takes 11 hours. Another big advantage is simultaneous charging, meaning it can charge external devices while the power bank itself is charging.

Thanks to large-capacity cells totaling 20,000 mAh, you can charge, for example, Mi MIX 2S up to 4.3 times. iPhone 8 can be charged 7.3 times.
The product dimensions are 153,5 x 73,5 x 27,5 mm. Of course, there are four LED indicators that show the charging status. On the side, there’s a button that lets you wake up the power bank.
To reduce weight, the manufacturer wraps the cells in a black plastic structure. However, the surface is specially processed so it looks like ceramic.
A sophisticated circuitry chip controls the power bank, with up to 9-layer protection against short circuits, overvoltage, overheating, and other unwanted factors.
