Powerful brushless motor and smooth operation

At the heart of the new generation is a powerful brushless motor, delivering high efficiency, lower noise, and a longer service life. The maximum torque reaches 50 N·m, which is a significant upgrade over the previous version, which had a maximum of 30 Nm and 1400 RPM.

In the new generation, you can control the rotation speed in two levels: 0 – 400 RPM for slow, precise screwdriving and 0 – 1700 RPM for fast drilling.

The brushless motor responds quickly and makes it easy to switch modes for different materials—from wood and plastic to thin metal or ceramic. Thanks to its efficient design, the tool heats up less, extending its lifespan even during longer work.

Built-in battery, USB C charging

The Xiaomi Mijia Brushless Electric Drill 2 comes with a new built-in lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1900 mAh and a voltage of 14.4 V. Thanks to efficient power management, it can drive about 600 screws or drill 200 holes on a single charge. Charging is done via the modern USB-C port and takes about 2 hours. That’s a huge advantage over most competitors with a standard DC adapter.

Charging supports multiple voltage levels (5V/9V/12V), meaning you can use a regular power bank or a fast smartphone charger. The low weight—just 990 g including the drill bit—makes this model a perfect helper for any household.

Intelligent mode and 32 strength levels

The new Xiaomi model also delights with an advanced intelligent torque control system. With the rotary dial, you can set up to 32 levels for both delicate and heavy-duty work.

For beginners, there’s a special A (Auto) mode, in which the smart chip automatically evaluates the ideal force based on the material’s resistance. This reduces the risk of damaging screws or the material.

Switching between drilling and screwdriving modes is done with a simple button, and the device remembers your last setting. This makes the work fast and intuitive even for users without professional tool experience.

Plenty of accessories and high-quality workmanship

The manufacturer also includes a rich set of drill bits and bits for different materials. The package contains metal drill bits with diameters of 4 / 6 / 8 mm, ceramic drill bits (6 mm), and a special 8 mm “Overlord” drill bit designed for wood, plastic, and thin metal. Everything is stored in a sturdy EVA case with compartments, so you’ll keep your tools neatly organized and protected.
