App control

One great feature of this lamp is definitely the ability to control it via your smartphone or tablet thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity and the Mi Home app. You can turn it off, turn it on, and adjust its brightness and color temperature remotely.

Besides the app, you can also control the lamp using a rotary button, which is located on the base. By turning, pressing, and combining them, you can control it fully.

The new smart desk lamp model from Xiaomi also supports Apple HomeKit, which means compatibility with Apple smartphones. You can also use the Siri voice assistant for control.

4 lighting modes

Since you can use the lamp for multiple activities, its functionality is tailored accordingly. It includes up to 4 lighting modes: reading mode, computer and kids mode, and focus mode.

Each one has its own color temperature and brightness level. The LED lights also boast a high value of natural light Ra100.

Beautiful design with an award

Of course, a desk lamp should look good too. Thanks to its beautiful design, the Mijia Smart Desk Lamp 1S even won the reddot award 2017. Your desk will look even better.

The manufacturer promises a lifespan of up to 25,000 hours, so it’s a very high-quality lighting device. The hinge is made of steel and in tests it lasted 10,000 bends.
