The construction of the Xiaomi Mijia Smart Electric Blanket consists of several layers that ensure even heating and maximum comfort. The top skin-friendly layer is soft, breathable, and you can barely feel it while sleeping. Under it there is a comfortable support layer, two fixing non-woven layers, and a double spiral heating structure. The overall weight of up to 610 g ensures firmness without deformation.

Xiaomi uses high-quality heating wires that work even when bent – the manufacturer states up to 25,000 bending cycles without damage. Thanks to this, the pad can be machine washed, which extends its lifespan and makes maintenance easier.

The whole blanket is designed to withstand washing, not twist, and not deform. Even after many cycles, the pad remains even, without damaged heating wires. The material is moisture-resistant and easy to store.

The power cable is solved with a detachable connector that you just need to snap in or pull out. This makes it easier to wash the entire pad in the washing machine and at the same time reduces the risk of cable damage when carrying or storing it. The joint is firm and designed so that it does not loosen on its own during normal use.

The edges of the pad are precisely and densely stitched, so the material does not tear even after longer use and frequent washing. The solid binding holds the whole structure together, prevents the filling from coming out, and also helps keep the surface perfectly flat without waves or bunched-up corners.

Safe heating thanks to triple insulation

The heating wires are placed in a three-layer safety insulation that protects against current leakage and minimizes the risk of damage in moisture. The base is a high-temperature insulating core, on top of it is an anti-oxidation insulating layer, and the whole thing is completed by an outer safety PE protective sleeve. 140 W of power enables fast preheating of the bed and stable maintenance of the set temperature.

Xiaomi states that thanks to the 140 W system, the pad heats up faster than classic 120 W models. The temperature rise curve is smooth and even, which is especially important on winter evenings when you need to quickly create a comfortable environment.

8-level safety protection

In addition to triple insulation, the heating mat includes up to 8 safety features that monitor operation throughout use. The system covers protection against overheating, short circuits, overload, overcurrent, a child lock, low-temperature protection, automatic shutoff after 15 hours, and protection against voltage spikes.

The mat also has multiple certifications, including 3C and low-radiation certifications, so it’s safe even for sensitive user groups.

Works with Mi Home, supports Wi‑Fi connectivity, and also offers manual control

The heating mat is fully integrated with the Xiaomi Home ecosystem. With the app, you can set the temperature, schedule a timer, or choose sleep modes. In the app, you can enable automatic preheating before you get home, set up a sleep profile, or link the mat with other Xiaomi smart devices.

The mat can also be controlled manually using the built-in remote. With a single press, the heating mat can start the blanket disinfection and drying mode. In winter, it not only warms up, but at high temperatures helps physically eliminate dust mites through dehydration—without chemicals and with a noticeably cleaner sleeping environment. During humid days, it can turn your bed into a dry, comfortably heated place even without taking the bedding outside to the sun.

A quality handheld controller with a large digital display shows the current temperature, the heating zone, and the selected mode. Thanks to the clear button layout, you can quickly switch between the left and right sides, adjust the heat level, or set a timer. The controller is lightweight, comfortable to hold, and responds instantly.

Two zones, independent control, and automatic temperature regulation

The model supports AB dual zones, meaning the left and right halves of the mat can be controlled separately. If you sleep with a partner and prefer different temperatures, each of you can set your own zone. There are 6 levels of smart heating.
